Celebrating Diversity and Inclusion

Dear Parents,

Assalāmualaikum wa RaHmatullāhi wa Barakātuh,

We are delighted to announce that the theme for November is ‘Diversity and Inclusion’. Throughout the month, students will engage in meaningful activities that celebrate the beautiful diversity of our country and the world. These activities aim to instill an appreciation for cultural differences, foster inclusivity, and deepen understanding of the values that bring us all together.

In Islam, we are reminded of the importance of diversity and unity. Allah Subhanahu wa Ta’ala says in the Qur’an: “O mankind, We have created you from a single pair of a male and a female, and made you into nations and tribes that you may know one another.” (Surah Al-Hujurat, 49:13). This verse emphasizes the significance of embracing our differences and learning from one another with respect and kindness.

We encourage you to support and guide your child in participating in these events, which will not only broaden their understanding of the world around them but also enhance their learning through the spirit of inclusivity.

May this month be a source of growth and unity for us all.
